FM transmission works pretty good on this(used it in three different cars). Some cars it works best in the low FM band & some the high FM area. Volume is usually all the way up on this but it does play what it says. Plays by connecting Bluetooth to your phone. Plays MP3s from a USB or Micro SD card. The micro SD option is the best because it automatically starts playing from the microSD when you start your car. With the other options, you have to tell it to start playing. It restarts playing at the start of the last song you were listening to when you turned off the ignition. It gets 4 stars because I would really love it if these would understand a playlist. I have not figured out what order it decides to play back your music. It isn’t random because it plays it through the same way every time. I have purchased a second one of these for other car so pretty usable device.
An excellent solution to cars with no aux input or Bluetooth connection. “Instruction unclear… transmitter stuck on one frequency” meme fits perfectly here. Instruction is practically not there, but it isn’t rocket science to figure out how to use it. To change the frequency, long-press the multimedia button and wait until the frequency blinks then use the multimedia to set it to your desire frequency. Since data is transmitted through a frequency, there will be a noise added to the signal due to car vibration or other noise signals. The static noise is not loud that it would interrupt your experience, but do not expect it to be like one with a cable or Bluetooth system. After playing around, I found frequency below 90Hz worked best for me, might not be the same with you. Try using frequency which is away from busy signals. I really love that it shows the battery voltage, definitely plus for that. The led light is a bonus, it gives it a nice look to it. However, would love to see it sync with the music in a future version.
This Bluetooth FM transmitter is completely user-friendly and is very easy to learn how to to use. There aren’t many buttons so it isn’t confusing, and I love how small and condensed it is.
This is actually my second product from this company. My first purchase was a different car FM Bluetooth, but it had a long neck which often got hooked on my purse or bag. This Bluetooth is amazing and it doesn’t have anything that sticks out so its never in the way!
The voice is very soft and settling, compared to the last one I bought that always freaked my friends out.
It is easy to change the volume and also change the channel.
Overall: Very pleased with the simpleness and compact size of this prouduct!
