I’m pretty torn with this charger as with other quick charging car chargers I’ve tested and I’m not sure it’s the chargers fault. We have 3 phones with a quick charge. So I thought I’d give this a try after being on sale. I purchased the Anker one for my wife and it seems to be the same. Both ports quick charge, however occasionally my phone will not quickly charge on the first plugin. I need to unplug it and plug it back in again and inevitably it works.

Something common in car chargers, is that they don’t always give the necessary power to be able to charge a cell phone while it is still being used, which causes that instead of charging them, it only causes them to discharge more slowly, but in the end, they are discharged. My dad had this problem, so I bought him this charger, and he really solved his battery problems, and he can even charge my mom’s phone at the same time for its double USB output.

It fits nicely and doesn’t stand out too much. Got an S9 with fast charging and the quick charging works well. I would add to make sure it securely plugged when attempting to charge your phone. When I remove my phone, I might inadvertently loosen it and not realize it. Then the next time I plug my phone it while getting off work I realize it didn’t charge. I make a habit to make sure its plugged in securely, but I had another charger that became backlit when connected to help let me know. I would buy a new one if it had this feature. Overall, good product.
