Description

AZDOME GS63H is today’s most advanced and powerful 4K Video Car Dash Camera

Novatek NT96660 Processor OV4689 Ultra-Low Light Capture 4MP CMOS Sensor F1.8 Large Aperture 6-Glass Wide Angle Lens, the Hardware is meticulously designed to provide crystal clear 4K video not only during the day but also during the night time with its ultra low light capture sensor with super night vision technology.

Advanced Software is the heart of this dash camera. We have spent countless hours making its custom software for user-friendliness and personalized experience that we desire in today’s world

WDR & HDR Technology

This creates clear videos with artistic qualities even in backlight or low-light situations.

Time-Lapse Video

Time-Lapse Video allows you to capture specific images per second at a much lower rate. So when you combine and play those images at the normal rate, everything seems to be moving faster in time-lapse.

Loop Recording

With loop recording enabled, users will have the option to record videos in loops of 3 / 5 / 10-minute video files, and record it on the TF card until space is exhausted. Then, the oldest file will be automatically overwritten. But, corresponding to gravity sensing, motion detection, parking monitoring or emergency files can not be automatically overwritten.

G-Sensor

The Built-In G-Sensor gets activated by sudden collision and locks the current video file as important evidence for further investigation.

G-Sensor also records the 3-Axis impact data on an X-Y-Z Axis graph, so you can see and prove when and where you hit that pothole on the road or where exactly the impact occurred on the google maps.

Motion Detection

With motion detection is enabled, when the vehicle recorder detects the movement of the object, the camera starts recording, and the camera automatically enters the motion detection standby state after the motion detection is finished. When the object is detected again, the camera function is started again.

Parking Monitor

24-Hours Parking Monitor works on an internal battery. If someone hits your car and impact reaches the G- Sensor Level, then the camera will turn ON and record 1-min video, then LOCKS IT & SAVES IT…

  1. Chris

This camera is clear and it is easy to use once you get to know what each button does. I sat down and read the book that came with it way before using it so that I could get a good understanding of everything. The video provided is at default settings, so I haven’t even set it to 4K yet and it is this clear. I do recommend the 128 Samsung 10 class u3 SD card for it as it records without freezing. I haven’t had any problems, but if I do, I will post an update. So far so good though.

This is my 3rd dash camera. And the only one that is great! In my opinion and basing it on the ones I have. My first one was good, but low-quality video, 2nd was 1020P video but crud night vision. While the night vision on this one is good, it is grainy but you can still see details, could tell if someone hit you, or you witness an accident.
    The things I love about it;
    1. GPS tells how fast you’re going, what direction and your coordinates at all times. If a cop pulls you over and says you’re doing 65 in a 55 zone, if you were, oops, if not, you have video proof of exactly how fast you were going.
    2. You not only have video but you can take snapshots at any time, even use it as a camera to take pictures of places and things. Might have to carry a battery pack for power but it’s a great cam too.
    3. I can connect to it with my Android phone (works with smartphones too) and see what it sees. Of course, the range isn’t going to be super long but say it’s on outside a restaurant and you’re close enough, you can connect and watch what’s going on.
    4. The suction cup to mount to the windshield is the best I’ve seen. It also has other mounting options but I chose this and it’s great.
    5. I can do 1, 3, 5 and 10-minute size video. You can also do 4gb per video but at the highest setting, you’re not going to get much, and that setting is the only setting that once the micro sd card is full, it will not overwrite old files. The other settings will.
    6. You can watch the video on the cam, your phone, your TV and the computer.
So… if you do have an accident, or witness one like I did a couple of months back with my old camera, quality is why I ordered this one. But anyhow, you are covered. Has 150 degree view angle (could be a bit more for my liking) but you can see for yourself in the pictures I posted.
The ONLY thing I don’t like is the size of the screen but I knew the size before I ordered it as it’s posted in the description so I can’t ding it for that. A larger screen would be nice but the camera is still great.

I’ve used this dash cam for a little over a month, and have been pleased overall.

My main disappointment is that it’s mislabeled as a 4k camera. Because of this, I’ve taken off one star. 3840 × 2160 (about 8 megapixels) is the definition of 4k, and the specified 2880 X 2160 resolution of the camera is less than this. Furthermore, 2880 X 2160 implies about 6 megapixels of resolution, but the camera’s OV4689 sensor only has 4 megapixels, so 6 megapixels of resolution isn’t really possible. 4 megapixels is about the resolution of Quad HD, which is four times the pixels of HD, so that’s what I’m calling it.

4 megapixels is about twice the resolution of Full HD, 1920 x 1080 which is about 2 megapixels, and my observations have confirmed a noticeably sharper image in good day time light with the camera’s 2880 X 2160@ 24 fps setting, compared to the 1920 x 1080@ 60 fps setting. Notice the difference in the handicap sign pictures, and the bricks in the background, taken with these two settings. Both pictures were taken standing at the same place about 35 feet from the signs, and are zoomed 8 times.

Because of the high film speed (ISO sensitivity) needed in low light, much less detail can be seen in videos taken at night. The camera has been optimized with the 1920 x 1080@ 60 fps setting for night use. Both the 1920 x 1080@ 60 fps and 2880 X 2160@ 24 fps settings show about the same nighttime detail, but the surroundings are much better illuminated with the 1920 x 1080 setting. In contrast to day time videos, little additional detail can be gleaned from nighttime videos by zooming in.

I haven’t tried the camera’s motion detection or parking mode features.

  4. SafetyFirst

The 4k dash camera is a quality product and the support staff is engaged and working hard to make sure customers are completely satisfied with their purchase. The video quality is excellent in both full and low ambient light. In shopping for a dash camera I was particularly interested in a camera that would increase the security of my Jeep when it is parked overnight in our condominium’s parking areas. I elected to purchase a good quality battery bank to power the dashcam when it is being used for parking security. I am able to power it for three nights while depleting the battery bank to approximately half charge.

  5. Alex

4K refers to one of two high definition resolutions: 3840 x 2160 pixels or 4096 x 2160 pixels.
    This camera’s maximum resolution is 2880 x 2160 pixels @24fps (3k?).

Otherwise, it’s a decent camera. The settings are easy to change. The app for viewing and recording, as well as adjusting the settings is very convenient. It is the highest video quality camera I’ve bought for my car.

The nighttime recording is very well, It’s exceptionally good in pitch black conditions with just headlights, and even better on a street light lit highway.

The built-in microphone is good. It is able to clearly record the conversation. Very useful in the event of a traffic stop.
GPS speed watermark on the bottom of the video is nice as well, it is accurate. Setting my car to 50mph on cruise control had the same speed showing on the video.

The mount is a little bit… different. Let’s just say it could be better. For the most part, it gets the job done, but for fine-tuning the exact rotation of the camera it leaves something to be desired. The camera comes with everything you’ll need to mount it, as well as tuck the wire away to the side so it’s not dangling in front of your windshield.

I’m using 4 of these, one for front, one for back, and one for each side. Since adding them to my car I have evidence of over 20 near miss moments of other drivers almost colliding with my vehicle.

  6. Furkan

this 4k UHD Dashcam is the best camera that I have used. The build quality is really nice, it’s not a cheap plastic feel at all. On the front, the speaker is loud, the LCD on the front is really nice and big and displays everything in front of you. But the main attraction is the high-quality video that comes from the sensor. The colors are accurate, it does a great job of changing the exposure when going through tunnels, sunsets, and other conditions. The wide-angle on this camera means that you can get just about all the lanes on the highway and because this is a 4K camera, you are able to see not only the tags in front of you but also on the side of you as you’re driving. It also starts when you start your car, so it is always recording when you need it.
I can highly recommend this dashcam as it offers some of the best quality in either 4k 30fps or 60fps which makes reading license plates very easy to do, on a computer of course! Night vision is also good.

  7. Chacon

The 4k dash camera works very well. The suction cup mount is low profile and very secure for a cup mount. The camera is compact and fits between my rearview mirror and windscreen nicely. This is my third dash camera over the years and is easily the best picture. Audio quality is acceptable.

The warning in the manual to not use with a high amp connection appears to be legit. The camera was acting oddly (turning off/on, randomly stopped recording) when plugged into my (aftermarket 2.3A USB power supply) charger. Switched to the 1.5 amp charger, performed a reset on it and has worked exceptionally well since then with no issues.

  8. Trendy

Impressed with the 4k dashcam, I was excited to order this UHD dash cam and the results were amazing until now. Recording starts as soon as the car starts (only when the car charger is inserted into the power socket). The 4K resolution clips were saved in 3-minute intervals and they keep recording until we stop it (loop-recording). Seems like the powerful processor and sony lenses have done some magic in capturing the details. I tried capturing a photo using the “ok” button and the clarity was impressive. The night vision was beneficial along with the wide-angle feature. Windshield mount was pretty useful with good suction capacity.
