These are a great deal for the price. Bright, easy to install, and the app gives cool functionality. However, I bought these to be a “door light” for my car. I planned to wire these to the door switch and hardwire them with a toggle switch on the dash, hoping that I could leave them “on” and they would turn on when the doors were open, and that I could toggle them on/off from a switch on the dash – something like a custom dome light. Reading these reviews, I had hoped this would be possible given this affordable set of LEDs. It seems that would be possible – but not without having to manually reset the color/program when these turn on and not without a three-color cycle upon the lights powering up.

I wanted to put this info out there for fellow DIY-ers and shade tree mechanics. These lights are quality for the price.

I have got these lights to replace my old LED, and I’m really like them! The only thing is that you have to put the small tube into the tube that sticks to your dashboard/console. That took a bit of time for me, at least, but it wasn’t too bad. I had installed them on my console and dashboard, having a little bit left for my back door handle. I like this product and will recommend it to my friends!
